of two medieval churches in Bærum from approximately 1100. The church is
used for habitual church ceremonies.
If you are seeking tranquillity, silence and peace in medieval
surroundings, you should visit Tanum Church. But on the other hand, you
can also experience rock and roll and other challenging musical events!
The parish of Tanum is very active, and the church is in use almost
every evening.
Inside there are original murals that were discovered during
restoration, and they have been meticulously preserved for the future.
In the period 21.6.–14.8. there are guided tours in the
church.
